Specification
• The 160 mm diameter tube allows a complete Topper or Optimist rig including sail and sail bag to be safely stowed inside the RIGTUBE™. Note tube length can be reduced to 2.5 m on request to suit Optimist

• For added security the stainless steel toggle clamps which hold the end cap in place, these can be locked with a small padlock

•The removeable end cap is fitted with a lanyard, so you don’t lose the cap!

• The front nose cap is foam filled, and riveted in place to reduce the risk of the sailing rig breaking through the cap under heavy braking when travelling. See picture below

• The black PVCu plastic tube has a tough 3.2 mm wall made to BS EN1329 (Grey on the 4 metre version)

• RIGTUBE™ has an approx weight of 9.5 kgs

• RIGTUBE™ has additives in PVCu plastic for added UV light protection. However, in time some fading may occur, and we recommend the use of a car bumper product like back to black to revitalise the appearance.

• For mounting, the British Standard BS EN 12056-2: 2000 recommends that the pipe should be supported at 1.2 metre intervals
